Future Plan

The NCHPE which functions currently as the main teacher training department for health professions is poised to be formally designated as the 'National Centre for Health Professions Education (NCHPE)' for Nepal.

In future, it will plan to run  academic degree  programmes leading to Diploma in Health Professions  Education (DiPHPEd) or even Masters in Health Professions Education ( NCHPE ) for Nepal. It aims to strengthen regional cooperation and develop inter-regional linkages with institutions/ centres/ universities engaged in educational innovations and research for health system development with the ultimate aim to develop into a School of Health Professions Eduction in South East Asia Region.
