About Research

Educational research has been promoted among faculty members. The NCHPE has also carried out research on ” Factors Causing High Failure in Final MBBS Examination ” and “Baseline Research Study on ROME in Nepal”. Several other studies have been carried out some of which are published in national and international journals. As a proposed National Centre, NCHPE will play increasingly important role to promote research related to health professions education, human resources development and the health system development in Nepal. The NCHPE has organized a workshop on Evidence – based medicine in the South East Asia region and would continue to work as a focal point to promote evidence-based Medical Education Policy and practice in Nepal.
